Universal healthcare: A Sept. 8 letter criticized a Sept. 4 story about California’s healthcare system for “ignoring” SB 840, a bill that the Legislature passed to make all Californians eligible for healthcare benefits. The story did mention the legislation, though it didn’t cite the bill number. Also, the story appeared on Page B1, not the front page, as the letter stated.
