About 6,500 BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance and BabyBjorn Babysitter Balance Air bouncer chairs are being recalled because small sharp metal objects found in the padded area of the chair can jut out and potentially cut small children, according to importer BabySwede and the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

No injuries have been reported to the company or the safety agency. The products were sold from September 2008 to July 2009 at baby product retailers and merchants nationwide, as well as online. The Babysitter Balance sold for about $170 and the Babysitter Balance Air for about $190. Information: (866) 424-0200 or www.babyswede.com.
