Leap Wireless International Inc., the contract-free mobile phone carrier, reported a wider fourth-quarter loss as customers migrated to its less expensive plans.
The loss expanded to $54.8 million, or 81 cents a share, from $18.1 million, or 27 cents, a year earlier, the San Diego company said.
Sales rose 21% to $518.9 million.
