Picks: Anne and Christopher Rice, talk and book signing

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in the Rice family, as mother-son novelists Anne Rice and Christopher Rice will prove when they share the stage at Zipper Hall for a reading and discussion of their new novels: the elder’s “Of Love and Evil” (the second installment of her Songs of the Seraphim series) and the younger’s “The Moonlit Earth,” a thriller following up last year’s bestselling “Blind Fall.” Book signing to follow.
