Actress-author Victoria Rowell selling Hollywood Hills home
Actress and author Victoria Rowell has put her Hollywood Hills home up for sale at $2.599 million.
The Beachwood Canyon-area house of nearly 4,400 square feet sits on more than a quarter-acre lot with a swimming pool. Built in 1923, the four-bedroom, 31/2-bathroom Mediterranean features terraces, city, canyon and mountain views and Italian-style gardens with mature trees and privacy hedges. The house includes a library, a media room, a family room, an updated kitchen and a breakfast room.
Rowell, 52, is known by soap fans for her long-running stint on the “The Young and the Restless” (1990-2007). She also co-starred on “Diagnosis Murder” (1993-2002). She wrote “The Women Who Raised Me,” a memoir about growing up in foster care, and “Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva: A Novel,” which is under consideration for a prime-time series.
Rowel is selling her longtime home to be in New York and Atlanta with husband of nearly two years, visual artist Radcliffe Bailey.
Gary Bergevin of Prudential California Realty in Los Feliz is the listing agent.
