Twitter began trading publicly Thursday morning, and as you might guess, the company’s employees took to the social network and Vine to document the event, giving us an insider’s look at the experience.

Here’s the scene at Twitter’s offices during the opening bell.

There were a lot of people in the building.

One employee gave a tour of the office.

Meanwhile, co-founder Jack Dorsey gave us a peak from the trading floor itself.

Once trading began, Twitter employees got very excited -- just listen.

And who could blame them? Trading started at $45.10, up from an IPO price of $26 per share.

Even the main Twitter account joined in on the fun.

Twitter’s IPO is a big deal, but for one employee, it paled in comparison to her first time having a cronut.

“Big day today...my first cronut experience! I Pig Out Day! #IPOday #ring,” the Twitter staffer’s photo caption says.

Across the country, the company’s co-founders and CEO Dick Costolo were greeted as heroes at the company’s New York office.

All in all, it looks it was a fun day for Twitter employees, and it was summed up best by Twitter Senior Client Engineer Jeff Strauss who captioned a Vine post with “#yopo you only public once.”

But OK, enough partying. Back to work, guys. You don’t want all your users to get a fail whale, do you?
