Mayor Garcetti asks Los Angeles residents to do more, announces more public closures

During his video news conference on the coronavirus response, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti stressed the need for staying at home and social distancing at the city’s park and recreation areas. He also announced new measures to ensure crowds do not gather in L.A.’s outdoor areas.
