Players to Watch: Fullerton Troy has one of the best 1-2 punches in the Southern Section in sophomore Cosmina Ciobanu and junior Clare Fermin. Ciobanu is 23-0 in sets while Fermin is 22-4. They have led the Warriors to an 8-3 record, including a 3-0 mark in the Freeway League.

Rolling Hills Estates Peninsula at Dana Point Dana Hills, today, 2 p.m. Peninsula (9-0), No. 5 in The Times’ rankings, is led by senior Alex Jurewitz. The No. 7 Dolphins feature freshmen Brooke Pletcher and Christina Tan, plus a deep doubles lineup.

Laguna Beach at Corona del Mar, Tuesday, 3:15 p.m. This match could determine the Pacific Coast League champion. The No. 3 Breakers beat the No. 6 Sea Kings, 10-8, in the first meeting on Oct. 2.
