Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. -- who would win?

Come on, you knew the question was coming, yet again, after Pacquiao’s dominating victory over Brandon Rios on Saturday night to show he was back to form after consecutive losses.

And after comments like this one from Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach:

“Mayweather in his last two fights has been slow, he doesn’t move as much as he used to. I think Manny’s speed will overwhelm him. Mayweather is not good against southpaws. And he has trouble with speed.”

Chances are, Mayweather isn’t going to take the suggestion that anyone, especially Pacquiao, will “overwhelm” him too kindly. But will that be enough to make the fight that everyone had gotten tired of waiting for finally happen?

According to AFP, promoter Bob Arum said that Pacquiao will fight on April 12 in Las Vegas against one of the two fighters who beat him -- Timothy Bradley or Juan Manuel Marquez -- before a possible matchup with Mayweather later in the year.

All of which leaves us with plenty more time to speculate. Who do you think would win in such a matchup?
