USC Coach Steve Sarkisian completed his coaching staff Tuesday by announcing the hiring of Bo Davis as defensive line coach.

Davis, 42, coached the last three seasons at Texas, under former coach Mack Brown.

“It is great to welcome Bo to USC,” Sarkisian said in a statement. “He is one of the outstanding defensive line coaches in the country and makes for a great addition to our coaching staff.”

Before coaching at Texas, Davis worked as an assistant under Nick Saban at LSU, the Miami Dolphins and Alabama. He played nose guard at LSU and graduated in 1993, USC said.

As he was putting together his staff, Sarkisian had said he would reach out to former Trojans defensive line coach Ed Orgeron, who served as USC’s interim coach after Lane Kiffin was fired. Orgeron abruptly left the program after Athletic Director Pat Haden hired Sarkisian.

Sarkisian’s staff:

Clay Helton, offensive coordinator/quarterbacks.

Johnny Nansen, running backs/special teams coordinator.

Tee Martin, receivers.

Tim Drevno, offensive line/running game coordinator.

Marques Tuiasosopo, tight ends/associate head coach offense.

Justin Wilcox, defensive coordinator.

Bo Davis, defensive line.

Peter Sirmon, linebackers/recruiting coordinator.

Keith Heyward, defensive backs.

Ivan Lewis, strength and conditioning.
