Jailed ‘Real Housewives’ star Teresa Giudice to publish tell-all memoir

For the past 10 months, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice has been making her home in a federal prison. And now she’s writing a book about it.

Gallery Books will publish Giudice’s memoir, “Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again,” in February, People magazine reports. The book will be co-written by K.C. Baker.

Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, were convicted last March on conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud charges. Prosecutors claimed that the couple used fraud to obtain millions of dollars in loans in order to support their extravagant lifestyle.

Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison; Joe Giudice got a 41-month sentence. He is scheduled to serve his sentence after his wife is released from prison on Dec. 23.

Giudice gained fame as a volatile, table-flipping cast member of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and as a contestant on Donald Trump’s reality show “Celebrity Apprentice.” (She placed fifth, outlasting George Takei and Debbie Gibson, but not eventual winner Arsenio Hall.)

She’s also the author of three Italian cookbooks, “Fabulicious: Fast and Fit!”, “Fabulicious! On the Grill” and “Skinny, Italian, Fabulicious!”

Giudice’s memoir likely will contain less fabuliciousness, but publisher Jennifer Bergstrom said readers will still be interested in the reality star’s story.

“While we’ve all watched Teresa’s life unfold on television, ‘Turning the Tables’ will mark the first time we will hear all of Teresa’s incredible life story, including her recent stint in prison,” she said.
