The smash-hit musical is a fly-on-the-wall true account of what transpired on Dec. 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash  together for an impromptu jam at Sam Phillips’ Sun Records studio in Memphis.
