Shirley gets her phone service from AT&T. The company’s telemarketers badger her frequently to bundle in Internet and video service.

That’s annoying enough.

But what’s really driving Shirley nuts is that AT&T has been sending salespeople to her home to make the same pitch in person.

I’ll admit I was surprised to learn that AT&T would go to the expense of using door-to-door salespeople. What are these guys, the Mormons?
