Fashion-designer-to-the-stars Bob Mackie has sold his ‘60s style home in Hollywood Hills West for $2.137 million.

Set on a third-acre corner lot in the Laurel Hills area, the one-story ranch house is roomy for its 1962 vintage, with 3,448 square feet of living space.

A midcentury-vibe rock fireplace and wall creates a focal point in the vaulted ceiling living room. White and bright interiors give the formal dining room and an office an updated look. An orange backsplash and island counter recall 1960s sensibilities in the eat-in kitchen.

One of two master suites has two walls of built-in display nooks, a sitting area and French doors that open to an outdoor sitting area. In all there are five bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms.

A herringbone brick patio, a swimming pool and drought-tolerant landscaping complete the grounds.

Mackie, a nine-time Emmy winner, dressed such stars as Cher, Diana Ross, Judy Garland and Joan Rivers. The 75-year-old designed costumes for Carol Burnett on “The Carol Burnett Show” during its entire run, as well as its spinoff “Mama’s Family.”

He bought the property 11 years ago for $1.695 million, public records show.

Greg Harris of Compass and Michael Collins of Coldwell Banker were the listing agents. Jimmy Bayan of John Aaroe Group represented the buyer.
