Emilio Estevez is offering his gated compound in Malibu for $7.8 million outside of the Multiple Listing Service.
The Point Dume-area property of about an acre includes vineyards, a fruit orchard and irrigated garden beds. The Mediterranean-style house features archways, hand-painted frescoes, beamed cathedral ceilings and stained glass. There are 3,731 square feet of living space, four bedrooms and five bathrooms in the main house, plus a guest house with a wine-tasting room.
Estevez, 51, and his fiance, Sonja Magdevski, started growing grapes on the site and the endeavor has grown into a business under the Casa Dumetz wine label.
At the rear of the house sits a large area for entertaining with a swimming pool, spa, fire pit and boccie ball court.
Estevez bought the property in 2000 for $2.2 million, public records show. He is known for his roles in "The Breakfast Club" (1985), "The Way" (2010) and "The Mighty Ducks" movie series. He is also a writer and director.
Marcie Hartley of Hilton & Hyland Christie's International Real Estate is the listing agent.
