Actor Eriq La Salle finds some new scenery in Bel-Air

Actor-director Eriq La Salle, known for his role as Dr. Peter Benton in the long-running series “ER,” has bought a home in Bel-Air for $3.03 million.

Sitting on a crest above Stone Canyon Reservoir, the T-shaped ranch house has views of the surrounding hillsides, mountains and ocean. Steps lead down the sloping property to trails and the reservoir below.

Within the 2,400 square feet of white-walled space is a living/dining room area, a center-island kitchen, a den, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. A guesthouse has another en suite bedroom.

Rows of sliding glass doors open to multiple patios, garden beds, lawns and a swimming pool. A two-car garage sits off the entrance to the home.

The house came on the market in April for $3.495 million, records show. The sellers were television and film producer Ralph Singleton and his wife, screenwriter Joan Singleton.

Amy Colvin Kaz of John Aaroe Group was the listing agent. Andrew Dinsky of PLG Estates represented La Salle.

La Salle, 53, has a host of television and film credits, plus a few for directing and producing. He appeared in 1988 film “Coming To America” and has been in the series “A Gifted Man” and “Under the Dome.”

He is reportedly set to join the cast of the third “Wolverine” movie.
