Manny Pacquiao’s latest bout is taking place outside the boxing ring. The Filipino prize fighter has listed his home for sale in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles at $2.7 million.

Set behind a wrought-iron fence, the updated Mediterranean was built in 2008 and features modern appointments, Brazilian teak wood and marble flooring and raised ceilings. Its 4,273 square feet of living space contain a designer kitchen, a formal living room with a fireplace, five bedrooms and five full baths.

Outdoors, bamboo lines a relaxed setting that includes a small lawn, pool, spa and waterfall feature.

Pacquiao, 35, defeated a previously unbeaten Timothy Bradley II in April to retake the World Boxing Organization welterweight title. In addition to his boxing exploits, it was recently announced that he would be joining the Philippines Basketball Assn. as a player-coach for the expansion Kia Motors Basketball franchise.

Records show that Pacquiao purchased the property in March 2009 for $2.17 million. Nick Enciso of Century 21 Classic Estates is the listing agent.
