Skateboarder Ryan Sheckler sells his crib with a view in San Clemente

Professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler has sold his view house in San Clemente for $1.55 million.

Sheckler, who earlier this year bought a new home in the area, paid $1.7 million for the two-story Mediterranean in 2008, records show.

Featured on the series “MTV Cribs” in 2009, the home in a gated community boasts a range of tricked-out amenities: a skylight-topped rotunda, a lower-level gym, whole-house surround sound and a custom theater complete with stadium seating and a 103-inch television.

Formal living and dining rooms, an open-area kitchen, four bedrooms, five bathrooms and three fireplaces are within 4,500 square feet of open-plan space. Travertine and stone floors, iron handrails and coffered ceilings highlight the interior details.

The master suite has an ocean-view deck, his and hers closets and an in-floor safe.

Outdoors, a wide patio centers on panoramic ocean and canyon views. There’s also a three-car garage with custom storage.

Jerry Thomas of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage was the listing agent. John Ginn of Tarbell Realtors San Clemente represented the buyer.

Sheckler, 25, starred in the MTV reality show “Life of Ryan” chronicling his life as a teenage professional skateboarder. The Orange County native has medaled six times at the X Games, including three golds.

Earlier this year, he paid $2.5 million for a Mediterranean-style house near T-Street Beach in San Clemente with 3,000 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
