Actress Katherine Heigl is offering home for the right money
Actress Katherine Heigl is selling her house in Los Feliz.
Priced at $2.659 million, the Southern Colonial-style two-story features French doors, high ceilings and verandas. There are two fireplaces, four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and nearly 3,700 square feet of living space. The grounds include mature landscaping, a swimming pool and a spa.
Heigl, 34, was a regular on “Grey’s Anatomy” (2005-10). Her film work includes this year’s “One for the Money,” “Life as We Know It” (2010) and “The Ugly Truth” (2009). She will star next year in “The Big Wedding.” The animal activist has launched a line of pet products whose proceeds will help support spay and neutering programs.
She paid $2.55 million for the property in 2007, according to public records, the same year she married country singer Josh Kelley.

Actress is ready for a new scene
Actress and singer Connie Stevens has listed her longtime Westside estate for $18 million.
The Paul Williams-designed main house features a two-story entry with a circular staircase; living, dining and family rooms; a library; a gym; a wine cellar; an atrium; a billiard room; seven bedrooms; and eight bathrooms in 12,000 square feet of living space.
The two-acre site includes a tennis court with viewing deck, a swimming pool, fountains, a gazebo and a rose garden. There also are two one-bedroom guesthouses, a chauffeur’s apartment, a recording studio and a pool house.
The actress said she will miss her “magnificent” roses, the 150-year-old oak tree outside her bedroom, the vegetable garden and having enough room for her animals to run free. “And, of course,” she added, “the memories.”
Stevens, 74, wrote, produced and directed “Saving Grace B. Jones,” now in holiday release. She starred in the TV series “Hawaiian Eye” (1959-63) and “Wendy and Me” (1964-5).
Stevens paid $350,000 for the property in 1974, public records show.
The listing says the property is in Holmby Hills, although the Los Angeles Times Mapping Database considers the location to be Beverly Crest.

Theme song composer changes tune
Actor-composer Alan Thicke has sold a compound in Toluca Lake for $3.525 million.
The Spanish Colonial-style house, built in 1934, sits behind gates on a flat acre lot with a north-south lighted tennis court, an outdoor entertaining area and a swimming pool with a poolside kitchen and covered eating area. The living/media room has a carved-wood-beam ceiling and a fireplace. The great room includes a bar and a fireplace.
The master bedroom suite features a spa tub, a sauna, a balcony, a fireplace, a study and walk-in closets. The 8,656-square-foot house has five more bedrooms and six bathrooms, plus a second kitchen in a guest suite, another office and a gym.
Since starring as patriarch Jason Seaver on “Growing Pains” (1985-92), Thicke has appeared on “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2006-09), “RoboDoc” (2009) and “The L.A. Complex” (2012). He will star in the independent Canadian film “Cubicle Warriors,” due out next year.
His compositions include theme songs for “Diff’rent Strokes” (1978-86) and “The Facts of Life” (1979-88).
Public records show the property changed hands in 1986 for $627,500. Thicke, 65, had been leasing it out in recent years.

Nerd alert in the Hollywood Hills
Comedian Chris Hardwick, whose offbeat humor embraces nerdiness, has purchased a house in the Hollywood Hills for $2.05 million.
Out-of-the-ordinary features include an outdoor mosaic tile bath with a 200-year-old faucet and a log cabin art studio. The 4,200-square-foot home, built in 1924 and recently renovated, has wrought-iron balconies, vaulted ceilings, two fireplaces, four bedrooms and four bathrooms. There are terraced gardens and stone walls on the quarter-acre lot.
Hardwick, 41, founded the cross-platform Nerdist entity, hosts “Talking Dead” (2011-present), a talk show that follows new episodes of “The Walking Dead,” and voices a lead character on Nickelodeon’s “Back at the Barnyard” (2007-present). His stand-up comedy special, “Chris Hardwick, Mandroid,” aired this fall on Comedy Central.

Pro boarder skates out of the Hills

Built in 2005 and designed for entertaining, the home features a two-story entry, an open floor plan, 20-foot ceilings, five bedrooms and five bathrooms in 4,706 square feet of living space. There is a swimming pool, a patio and a lawn.
Dyrdek, 38, is executive producer, a creator and appears in the series “Wild Grinders” (2012), “Ridiculousness” (2010-12) and “Fantasy Factory” (2009-12).
He paid $2.459 million for the property in 2008, public records show.
