Mom coaches ‘Glee’ cheerio Naya Rivera in two real estate deals
“Glee’s” Naya Rivera is keeping her real estate agent mother busy this year.
The 26-year-old actress bought a house in Los Feliz for $2.6 million and a sale is in the works on her home in a 90210 neighborhood.
The East Coast-inspired traditional that she purchased retains its 1930s vibe but has been updated. There are five bedrooms, four bathrooms and nearly 4,200 square feet of living space.
The for-sale contemporary, listed at $2.1 million, includes a library with a wet bar and kegerator, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in 3,300 square feet. She bought the property in 2012 for $1.475 million, remodeling it and redoing the swimming pool, irrigation systems, landscaping and lighting.
Naya Rivera has played cheerleader Santana Lopez on the musical comedy-drama since it started in 2009.
Yolanda Rivera of Keller Williams’ VIP Properties has the listing on her daughter’s house and represented her in the purchase. Michael Maguire of Keller Williams’ Beverly Hills office was the listing agent.
Selling to tune of $11.5 million
It took two years, but pop star Christina Aguilera sold her 10,000-square-foot gated mansion in Beverly Hills for $11.5 million.
Set on nearly two-thirds of an acre, the Mediterranean-style home has a grand foyer with a sweeping staircase, a fanciful children’s room, a gym, a game room, a gift-wrapping area, a movie room, a beauty salon, six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The master bedroom suite contains a lounge, a fireplace and dual bathrooms and closets. There is a guesthouse/recording studio. Outdoor entertaining areas include a pagoda and a swimming pool with a water slide and grotto spa.
The property was purchased from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne in 2007 for $11.5 million, according to public records.
Aguilera sold to move to nearby Mulholland Estates, where she bought the home of Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores for $10 million.
Aguilera, 32, is among the world’s bestselling recording artists, with sales of more than 50 million records. The Grammy winner’s hits include “Ain’t No Other Man,” “Beautiful” and “What a Girl Wants.” She was a coach on the TV singing competition “The Voice.”

Home is fit for a superhero
Superhero actor Chris Evans has bought a house in Hollywood Hills West for $3.52 million.
The gated traditional-style house, built in 1940, has been restored and features three bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and nearly 4,600 square feet of living space. The three-quarters of an acre lot includes a swimming pool with a spa, a fire pit and a deck.
Evans, 31, plays Captain America in the film series of the same name. He also starred last year in the same role in “The Avengers.”
Paul Wylie of Lamerica was the listing agent. Rayni Romito of Hilton & Hyland represented Evans, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
Comedian parts with Tarzana pad
Actor-comedian Chris Tucker sold his house in Tarzana for $2.1 million.
Set on about three-quarters of an acre in a gated community, the contemporary Mediterranean features an open floor plan, three fireplaces, high ceilings, a study, a wet bar, a butler’s pantry, five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and 6,399 square feet of living space. A pool, spa, lawn and a motor court complete the outdoors.
Tucker, 41, starred opposite Jackie Chan in the three “Rush Hour” films. More recently, he was in the film “Silver Linings Playbook.”
He bought the house in 1996 for $1,113,500.

Shooting for about $9.5 million
Former pro basketball shooting guard Mitch Richmond has put his Calabasas estate up for sale at $9.495 million.
The sprawling Mediterranean-style mansion has nearly 13,000 square feet of living space and sits on 2.25 acres with a basketball court, a swimming pool, a barbecue center, a fireplace, a fire pit and lawns. Custom built in 2006, the house features a game room, a sports bar, a theater, a library/office, a wine cellar/tasting room, a gym, six bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
Richmond, 47, started his NBA playing career with the Golden State Warriors in 1988 and ended it in 2002 with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is now back with the Warriors as a scout.
He bought the site in 2004 for $1.7 million.

Beverly Hills is well dressed
The Beverly Hills home of the late menswear, jewelry and fragrance mogul Bijan Pakzad has been sold for a reported $9.8 million.
Built in 1993, the gated Italianate villa is a showcase of Pakzad’s style, with bold primary color interiors, monochromatic-themed rooms and a chandelier made of his signature perfume bottles in the formal dining room. The 12,016 square feet of living space includes a marble-counter bar in the family room, a sweeping central staircase, a step-down living room, seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. There is subterranean parking for more than 20 cars.
The nearly three-quarters of an acre site contains manicured gardens, a one-bedroom guesthouse with an attached cabana, a tiled swimming pool, a spa and a six-car motor court. A stone path lined by orange trees, roses, bougainvillea vines and a fig tree wraps around the house.
The Iranian American designer, who died in 2011 at 67, clothed some of the world’s most powerful leaders including presidents Carter, George H.W. Bush, Clinton, George W. Bush and Obama. His appointment-only boutique on Rodeo Drive, opened in 1976, used its high prices as a selling point and advertised its wares as “the costliest menswear in the world.”
Public records show Pakzad bought the house in 2002 for $5 million.
