Apple is pulling Beats Music at the end of the month and encouraging users to switch to Apple Music, its new music-streaming service.

Beats Music subscriptions will be canceled Nov. 30, although users can move their preferences over to Apple Music now, the company said in a post online.

“On Apple Music, you’ll get even better recommendations based on music you already listen to and love, 24/7 global radio with Beats 1, exciting material from your favorite artist, and more,” executive Dale Bagwell wrote.

The move was expected after Apple bought Beats last year for $3 billion and went on to launch Apple Music in June.

Last month, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that Apple Music had signed up 6.5 million paying subscribers less than four months after its launch, about a third of the number who pay for 7-year-old market leader Spotify.

An additional 8.5 million people were using the free 90-day trial version of Apple Music, bringing its total user count to 15 million.
