What's it all mean? Netflix's deal to pay Comcast for direct access to the broadband giant's network signals a new era in the relationship between content suppliers and pipe owners. Netflix probably will strike similar deals with other large Internet Service Providers (ISPs). If you are Netflix and your trucks are clogging the freeway, having a special lane is not a bad thing.
