French Montana calls Khloe Kardashian his ‘baby forever’

Khloe Kardashian and French Montana -- remember them?

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star and the “I Luh Ya Papi” rapper dated for eight months, splitting up in September after Kardashian said she needed a break.

So that clearly means they’re not an item anymore, right? As it turns out, Montana, 29, real name Karim Karbouch, said he and Kardashian, 30, are something of an item.

“You know, like every relationship, you break up, you make up,” the Moroccan-born emcee told Wendy Williams on her talk show Friday. “Right now we’re on real good terms.”

“We’re in a real special zone,” Montana added. “She’s going to be my baby forever.”

To that, Williams expressed her doubts, wondering if the musician dated Kardashian simply for the fame. But Montana, who met Kardashian through music mogul Diddy, said he didn’t “feel like love comes like that.”

He’s got a point. A day earlier at the Power 105.1 Powerhouse 2014 event in New York City, Montana spilled details about the dynamic he still shares with the reality-TV entrepreneur.

“[Khloe] inspires me as a person. I’m sure I inspire her in many different ways. We just have that special relationship ... She’s a beautiful person. I don’t think a lot of people know how beautiful she is,” Montana said.

During their dating days, the duo were very open about their relationship, including their sex life -- or lack thereof.

Montana also caught the attention of the media when he showered Kardashian with three very nice, very expensive gifts, including a 4x4 white Jeep Wrangler Sahara, an 18-karat emerald ring and a diamond-studded grill.

These days, Montana says he’s keeping the status of their relationship in the air.

Kardashian filed for divorce from embattled basketball player Lamar Odom in December 2013, but that split is not yet final.
