Summer’s pretty much over and so is Khloe Kardashian’s relationship with rapper French Montana, according to reports out Wednesday.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star and “Cocaine Mafia” musician have split up, E! News and Us Weekly reported.

The former outlet cited sources alleging that the pair was “done for good,” while the latter said they were “on a break.”

But both sources are alleging that the Moroccan-born emcee was getting a bit too “needy” for the reality star’s liking and hasn’t accepted the breakup.

Montana, 29, real name Karim Kharbouch, is reportedly trying to save their romance, “but eventually they will be totally broken up,” a source told E! News. “For all intents and purposes, Khloé is single again.”

“Khloé thinks he’s a great guy, but it just wasn’t working out,” another source told E!

Rumors suggested that the rapper tried to promote his career by associating with the reality-TV fixture, though E!’s source said that “never bothered her.” Other areas of contention included disapproval from Kardashian’s family, namely sister Kim Kardashian West and mom Kris Jenner, the outlets said.

The 30-year-old, who is divorcing embattled basketball player Lamar Odom, had been dating Montana for about eight months. The two were reportedly introduced by music mogul Diddy.

Montana was on hand to partake in Kardashian’s 30th birthday festivities, and the two even made a few joint appearances. Kardashian is featured in his “Don’t Panic” music video, and the “I Luh Ya Papi” rapper also appeared on “KUWTK” and was filmed for her spin-off “Kourtney and Khloe take the Hamptons,” which is set to air starting in November.

And that’s probably when we’ll figure out what really went down.

A rep for Kardashian did not immediately respond to a Los Angeles Times request for comment.
