Leelee Sobieski cradled a big baby bump on a New York City red carpet Wednesday, making it pretty clear she's well on the way to having her second child with menswear designer Adam Kimmel.
The actress, who played a nerdy high school brainiac to Drew Barrymore's undercover journalist in 1999's "Never Been Kissed," wore a floor-length cobalt blue Dior gown to the Christian Dior Cruise 2015 fashion show in Brooklyn.
On her left wrist? A colorful bracelet with beads spelling out the word "mommy."
She and her husband, who married in August 2010, are already parents to daughter Louisanna Ray Kimmel, born in 2009. Shortly after those life events, the actress had guest roles on "The Good Wife" and "Drop Dead Diva."
The "Eyes Wide Shut" actress' rep confirmed the baby news to People on Thursday.
It was Lewi -- that's their daughter's nickname -- who had Sobieski busy when she talked to Vogue a while back. Activities included "Giving Lewi a bath, buying milk, cleaning something, making some decision, reading weird baby blogs, worrying I disciplined in the wrong way," she said in the October 2012 issue of the fashion mag.
The couple's Tribeca loft was the centerpiece of the story, but motherhood's effect on their decorating was very evident throughout.
"You might like something with really sharp corners, but then you just think about a face-plant,” Sobieski said.
It's all good for kid No. 2, though: The baby-proofing has already been done.
