Lindsay Lohan wants to be Wanted backstage at Philly Jingle Ball?

Share

Lindsay Lohan was backstage at a concert where the Wanted was playing Wednesday night — but don’t read too much into that.

Lohan was spotted signing autographs backstage at the Q102 Jingle Ball 2012 in Philadelphia, which also featured Justin Bieber and Psy.

We care most about the Wanted, of course, because Lindsay is said to have a thing for singer Max George, and he and the band were reportedly part of what set off the nightclub brouhaha that ended with Lohan arrested last week in New York City on suspicion of assault.

She’d been to see the five-boy band open for Bieber but couldn’t get backstage, TMZ said, then ran into three of them at a hotel bar before they all moved on to Avenue, where the assault allegedly went down.

The website had Lohan getting jealous and punching Tiffany Mitchell after George chatted up the psychic, who was at the club with her husband. Another version of the story, from the New York Daily News, had Lilo upset and calling Mitchell a “gypsy” after friends crowded around a table that held the actress’ expensive purse. Mitchell told police she backed into someone while a scuffle was going on elsewhere in the club, and shortly thereafter was punched in the face, Fox 411 reported. And in what’s supposedly Lohan’s version of events, she allegedly admitted to the name calling but says she didn’t punch Mitchell (via Daily News again).

But back to Wednesday’s concert, where according to a Q102 source Lohan was seen popping into a catering tent where the Wanted was also hanging out.

Lohan’s presence backstage in Philly most certainly wasn’t at George’s request, TMZ reports. Not only is he not dating the “Liz & Dick” actress, sources said, he also had no idea she’d be hanging out on site Wednesday night. Still, he did say Tuesday he thinks she’s “a good girl.” Perhaps she read something nice into that?

By Lindsay’s own admission, she got the “Liz & Dick” job by harassing producers and making herself omnipresent until the gig was hers. Maybe she’s taking a similar approach with Max George.
