Natalie Portman steps out for Dior in Shanghai with lighter hair

Natalie Portman has lightened up her hair color, and the result is tres chic.

The “Thor: The Dark World” star attended the Miss Dior Exhibition on Thursday in Shanghai looking ladylike and sophisticated with a caramel-hued, curled bob.

The 33-year-old, the face of Dior’s Miss Dior fragrances since 2010, wore a Dior dress for the occasion. She set off the white silk dress with black accessories: pointy-toed Dior pumps and a matching clutch.

Portman joined “Memoirs of a Geisha” star Ziyi Zhang at the exhibition, which tapped 16 female artists to pay homage to the French fashion house’s founding designer and its youthful fragrance.

“The opening night here has such great energy of all the, of course, people here who are seeing the exhibit for the first time in Shanghai, but also of this sort of reunion for all these women artists who are represented in the exhibition who of course are reuniting again after last year’s opening in Paris,” Portman said in a video released by Dior.

“So it’s very exciting to sort of see it a second time with the same group of people. It’s starting to feel like this sisterhood.”

In February, the fashion house, now helmed by Raf Simons, launched Portman’s Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet campaign, which was photographed by Tim Walker and featured the actress in a number of gorgeous portraits. The accompanying “film” was shot by Sofia Coppola.

On Sunday, Portman is scheduled to close out the 2014 Shanghai International Film Festival. Portman will soon make her directorial debut with and star in “A Tale of Love and Darkness,” a 1940s drama based on Amos Oz’s novel.
