Zayn Malik seemingly confirms Gigi Hadid romance via Instagram selfie

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have done very little to put romance rumors to bed, and over the weekend, the former One Direction singer offered further evidence that the two are indeed dating.

Malik, 22, showcased his new flame in a captionless selfie on Instagram featuring the two of them cheek-to-cheek, with the supermodel hugging the singer's face close to hers.

By Monday, Hadid, 20, was also featured in paparazzi shots from across the pond that showed her leaving a London photo studio and visiting Malik's home in a northern London suburb, according to People.

Though neither party has publicly confirmed the romance, the Instagram photo was being touted as an admission by the gossips since it hit the Web. As of Monday afternoon, the image netted more than 744,000 likes and 112,000 comments shipping the two or hating on Hadid for stealing the object of their affection.

The young stars, both recently single, were first spotted together at an American Music Awards after-party in November and have been photographed in each other's company out in L.A.

At the time, a source told E! News that they are "just friends and are casually hanging out," because the Victoria's Secret model isn't looking "to jump into another relationship so soon."

Us Weekly's report also said the coupling was new and casual, but added that "they seem equally super into each other, texting each other all the time" and that they had only been hanging out for "a couple weeks."

Hadid, who has also modeled alongside pal Kendall Jenner for Balmain, was most recently linked to DNCE singer Joe Jonas, but the Jonas-Hadid romance fizzled out just before she was linked to Malik. In August, soon after the British crooner quit his boy band, he also quit his engagement with longtime girlfriend Perrie Edwards of Little Mix.
