KNBC-TV Channel 4 tied the Spanish-language station KMEX for the most nominations for the 68th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards, the Television Academy announced Thursday.

Both stations received 19 nominations for awards honoring local television stations. KCET earned the second most nominations with 13, followed by last year’s leader for nominations, the Telemundo-owned KVEA, which tied KTLA Channel 5 with 10 nominations.

KCET’s nominations include multiple nods for its art series “Artbound” as well as its local-focused prime time newsmagazine “SoCal Connected.” KTLA’s nominations included recognition for coverage surrounding the annual Rose Parade, and KCBS Channel 2 was recognized for breaking news coverage of the terrorist attacks in Paris. KVEA and KNBC were also nominated in the same category for coverage of the shootings in San Bernardino.
