NBC reveals first look at Allison Williams as Peter Pan
Allison Williams will be playing Peter Pan in NBC’s “Peter Pan Live” in December, and on Wednesday, the network released the first image of its star in the full costume.
Williams’ dad, “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams, did his best to get the jump on the network’s photo back in July when he announced her casting in the role and offered up his own picture of his daughter dressed as Peter Pan when she was a little tyke.
There’s been a long tradition of women playing the role of Peter Pan, an eternal boy in the story, but Williams looks to be the most feminine of the Pans to date.
The live production will air on Dec. 4 and will also star Christopher Walken as Captain Hook.
