TNT is beefing up its 2016 original drama lineup with episode orders for “Animal Kingdom” and “Good Behavior.”

“Good Behavior” features “Downton Abbey” star Michelle Dockery in her first television gig after her iconic turn as Lady Mary Crawley on the PBS series. An adaptation of the Letty Dobesh series of novels written by “Wayward Pines” author Blake Crouch, the series focuses on a fresh-from-prison con artist (Dockery) anxious to stay one step ahead of the game.

“Animal Kingdom” features its own set of luminaries, with Ellen Barkin (“Sea of Love”) as a Southern California matriarch who oversees both her family and their criminal enterprises and Scott Speedman (“Underworld”) as her right-hand man.

In a statement released by the network, Sarah Aubrey, executive vice president of original programming for TNT, called the shows “muscular, distinct dramas that will define the new direction of TNT,” adding, “We believe audiences will love watching Michelle Dockery trade in her manners for the life of a sexy, complex ex-con in ‘Good Behavior’ and Ellen Barkin and Scott Speedman command an unruly family of criminals and adrenaline junkies in ‘Animal Kingdom.’”

Each series received a 10-episode order with production set to begin in early 2016.
