YouTube impressionist imitates most of the ‘Game of Thrones’ cast

If you watch “Game of Thrones,” it’s likely you’ve tried your hand at an impression or two over the years. Whether you mustered your best Khal Drogo to call someone “Khaleesi” or grunted out a convincing “Hodor.” But one Canadian impressionist appears to have mastered an impressive percentage of the show’s sprawling cast. Put it this way: He could probably turn the “Watchers on the Wall” episode into a one-man show.

Steve Love lives in Ottawa, Canada, and maintains his own YouTube channel, “DrSteveLove,” where he does impressions of NFL players, “Family Guy” characters and the ever-reliable impressionist standby, U.S. presidents. But his latest video, featuring impressions of the cast of “Game of Thrones” from its fourth season, looks to be his viral breakout hit.

Love throws out impressions of the expected characters, such as Tyrion Lannister, Varys and Littlefinger. But he also offers up some surprising deep cuts, including the cannibalistic Styr the Magnar, several members of the Night’s Watch and the Unsullied warrior Grey Worm.

Love’s Oberyn Martell is especially fun when he manages to combine it with a surprise impression from another well known fantasy film.

The “Game of Thrones” impressions have been Love’s biggest hit so far. His first video of “Thrones” impressions last year has been viewed more than 800,000 times. And his fourth-season impressions video appears on track to match that.

You can watch all of Love’s impressions here.
