It’s a big week for crooner Michael Buble. He’s releasing both a memoir (“Onstage Offstage: The Official Illustrated Memoir”) and a Christmas album this week, though he was hesitant to release a memoir at the young age of 36.

“I guess I didn’t understand why people would want pictures of me,” Buble tells the Toronto Sun. “The way [my manager] talked me into it was he said, ‘Listen, kid, you always complain that people don’t who you really are ... Why don’t you go do this thing, do the photos, and you can tell you fans a little bit about what you’re thinking. Who Michael Bublé is. The good, the bad.’”

Buble also tells the Sun a little about his new album, which features a duet with Shania Twain.

“It was a happy day; I love recording with [Shania]. This entire record was the most important of probably my life. Because I was hugely affected by Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’ record. It introduced me to jazz music,” says Buble.

The track list is full of Christmas classics:

1. It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
2. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
3. Jingle Bells [featuring the Puppini Sisters]
4. White Christmas [duet with Shania Twain]
5. All I Want For Christmas Is You
6. Holly Jolly Christmas
7. Santa Baby
8. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
9. Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)
10. Silent Night
11. Blue Christmas
12. Cold December Night
13. I’ll Be Home For Christmas
14. Ave Maria
15. Mis Deseos/Feliz Navidad” [duet with Thalia]

The album came out on Monday (Oct. 24) and the book hit shelves on Tuesday (Oct. 25). You can also see Bublé starring in a holiday special, set to air on NBC in early December and he will appear on “Saturday Night Live” on Dec. 17.
