Krysten Ritter, Camilla Belle, Eva Amurri and AnnaLynne McCord were among the notables who gathered Saturday night for the gala grand opening of “A Quest for Beauty: The Art of Van Cleef & Arpels” at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana. The 200-piece exhibit, scheduled to run through Feb. 15, 2014, includes pieces worn by Elizabeth Taylor, Barbara Hutton, Marlene Dietrich, Princess Grace and -- more recently -- Eva Mendes and Jennifer Garner.
Christina Ricci married James Heerdegen on Saturday in New York. The bride wore a Givenchy haute couture wedding gown in white silk tulle, People reports. The pair met on the set of “Pan Am,” the television series in which Ricci starred and where Heerdegen worked in the camera department. [People]

Jay Z issued a statement on his website Saturday in response to calls for him to drop plans for a holiday collaboration with Barneys New York because the retailer has been accused of racial profiling. The rapper says he is waiting for all the facts before making a decision, and that he personally doesn’t stand to gain from the collaboration because profits are earmarked for his Shawn Carter Foundation, which helps disadvantaged people continue their educations.
