Kanye West and Kim Kardashian (both in Lanvin) were among the well-heeled and the genteel that turned out for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala benefit for the fashion exhibition “Charles James: Beyond Fashion,” on Monday in New York. Target’s CEO has resigned in the wake of the retailer’s massive data breach, reports our Business section colleague Tiffany Hsu. Hsu reports that Gregg Steinhafel, 59, has stepped down from his position as Target Corp.’s chief executive, president and chairman after 35 years with the brand, less than five months after news of the hacking scandal broke.
