The stated attire for the 50th birthday bash of one petite blond by the name of Barbara Millicent Roberts was “channel your inner Barbie,” so the Malibu manse dolled up as her life-size “Dream House” was predictably awash in a plethora of pinks -- cotton candy-colored dresses, shimmery shades on shoes, pops of neon on neckties, chinos, scarves, sunglasses and cellphone covers. The glittery pink customized VW Beetle in the driveway even sported a dipstick the color of lipstick for the occasion.

“Project Runway” host Heidi Klum could have channeled her inner Barbie wearing a grain sack as she posed behind the wheel of the VW before walking the pink carpet. But our favorite was the vest worn by toy analyst Chris “The Toy Guy” Byrne. “It’s [Pantone Matching System] 219 -- Barbie pink,” he told us proudly. “I had it custom-made by my Hong Kong tailor Nelson Lin just for tonight.”
