After three years dominated by a recession-muted palette of neutrals, color is clocking back in with a vengeance. Among the noteworthy names giving the color wheel an enthusiatic spin are Jil Sander, Dries Van Noten, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton as well as Tommy Hilfiger, who showed a brightly hued, 25th-anniversary, neo-preppie collection during New York Fashion Week in September.
