Paul Mathieu chaise
By Barbara Thornburg
After years in which stainless steel and chrome finishes were staples in the furniture world, warmer golden tones are being used in more and more designs. Paul Mathieu's Aria collection of furniture, which includes this chaise, is polished bronze with gold finish. At $62,400 at Ralph Pucci International in West Hollywood, it's truly living room sculpture. But expect the look to filter down to mass-market retailers in the seasons to come. |
