What do you do when a multimillionaire football player leaves an insanely small tip at your restaurant? You air your grievances on Facebook, of course.

Tommy Up, owner of the Philadelphia restaurant PYT, is claiming Eagles running back LeSean McCoy and three friends stopped in for a meal, then left a 20-cent tip on a more than $60 tab. A post on the restaurant’s Facebook page Monday also claimed McCoy was “verbally abusive” to the staff.

“Our staff was beyond excited to see him walk into our burger joint and was excited to serve him,” wrote Up. “That’s 20 cents on a tab of over $60. Twenty cents that our server has to split with the food runner and the bartender. Two dimes from an insulting multimillionaire.”

The restaurant’s post gained traction on social media sites, and Charlie Sheen being Charlie Sheen, decided to get involved by pledging $1,000 to the restaurant server involved.

“Dear Tommy Up at PYT in Philly. Please tell Rob K I’m pledging 1000 dollars to him for the tip debacle just wanna help. c #NoJudgement,” tweeted the actor Wednesday.

McCoy responded to the incident via Philadelphia Daily News sports reporter Les Bowen. Bowen tweeted a series of comments from McCoy, including “I tip on my service...(indicates server was) rude and disrespectful...I tip well.”

McCoy also added: “If I had to do it again, I’d do it the same way ... good that (Charlie Sheen) is finally doing something positive.”

Charlie Sheen to the rescue, this time.
