2008 Bodegas Aldeanueva Shaya Verdejo 'Old Vines'

Lifestyle and LeisureBars and ClubsDining and DrinkingCooking

I'm always happy to pop open a bottle of Rueda, and this one, the Shaya Verdejo "old vines" from Bodegas Aldeanueva doesn't disappoint. Intensely aromatic with hints of citrus and melon, it's bright and focused, a stunning example of white wine from the region.

Drink it with oysters or clams on the half shell, chilled shrimp and seafood platters, seared scallops or a fish stew.
