It’s time for the Palm Springs Modernism Week Fall Preview -- without all the crowds

Share

Palm Springs Modernism Week in February has always been popular with Midcentury Modern design fans. So popular, in fact, that organizers have added a more intimate version of the architecture and design showcase in the fall.

This year’s Modernism Week Fall Preview, scheduled for Oct. 9-12, features many of the same events that you will find in February, but without the crush of crowds.

For the first time, the four-day fall preview will include tours of the historic Sunnylands estate ($65) and a double-decker bus architectural tour hosted by cultural historian Charles Phoenix ($99).
