Kaley Cuoco gets star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

“Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday. And it’s in a stylish location, right in front of the Napoleon Perdis Makeup Academy corporate office, the thrilled company pointed out in a news release.

Diane von Furstenberg, popularizer of the iconic wrap dress and head of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, is looking for someone to take over as creative director of her label, the Wall Street Journal reported. [Wall Street Journal]

Meanwhile, E! is set to premiere a reality series set in Von Furstenberg’s atelier. “House of DVF” is scheduled to begin airing Sunday at 10 p.m. PST, and focuses on eight young women vying to become DVF brand ambassadors. [WWD]

Designer Tom Ford was the honoree at the L.A. amfAR Inspiration Gala on Wednesday night, which raised $3 million for AIDS research. [Los Angeles Times]
