Lisa Dillman is a former sports reporter for the Los Angeles Times; she left in 2016. She has covered the Kings, the Ducks, the Clippers, professional tennis, soccer and Olympic sports at five Summer Games and two Winter Games for the newspaper since 1992. With business reporter Jim Bates, she was honored by APSE, finishing second in the investigative category with a series of reports detailing the rise and fall of Kings owner Bruce McNall into bankruptcy and the subsequent federal investigation. More recently, she covered the Kings' run to the Stanley Cup in 2012. She plays tennis much better than she skates.
