Actor Hal Sparks lets go of his longtime home in Venice for $1.66 million
Actor-comedian Hal Sparks has sold his longtime home in Venice for $1.663 million — more than double what he paid for the property 13 years ago.
The red-painted house, built in 1946, sits behind a hip-length privacy wall and has a covered porch.
Inside, a single story of living features colorful hues, hardwood floors and arched doorways throughout. An eat-in kitchen has been updated with a tiled backsplash and stainless steel appliances.
A living room, a breakfast nook, three bedrooms and two bathrooms are within 2,060 square feet of interior space. The master suite has pitched ceilings and a fireplace.
Outdoors, there’s a covered pavilion, lawns and a detached workshop with a three-quarter bathroom. A gated entrance sits off the rear of the home.
Sparks bought the house in 2003 for $775,000, records show.
Justin Miller of Beach City Brokers was the listing agent. Elizabeth Padilla of Teles Properties repped the buyer.
Sparks, 46, has television credits that include “Queer As Folk,” “Tak & the Power of Juju” and Disney XD’s “Lab Rats.” He was a host on E! Network’s “Talk Soup” from 1999-2000.
