When it comes morning chat fests, little on TV beats " The View." Bill Geddie, who is the executive producer of the ABC Emmy-winning talk show, has listed his Brentwood home at $3,995,000.
The Santa Barbara-inspired Spanish-style house was listed briefly for $1 million more last year. The 4,480-square-foot house has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. It has distressed beams, stone fireplaces, hardwood floors and French doors and windows. And there are city and ocean views.
There is a state-of-the-art Crestron electronics system, carved stone fireplaces, custom fabric window treatments and custom closets in every bedroom. The countertops are of Walker Zanger vintage glass and stone.
In addition to producing "The View," Geddie, 53, is partners with Barbara Walters and produces many of her specials.
"The View," which debuted in 1997, received the 2003 Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Talk Show."
