Matt Leinart, Vince Young reunite in ‘2006 Rose Bowl: A Football Life’
USC fans must wait at least until next season to see if the Trojans return to the Rose Bowl.
In the meantime, the NFL Network will air “The 2006 Rose Bowl: A Football Life,” featuring top-ranked USC and No. 2 Texas in what was considered one of the best college football games ever played.
The documentary features commentary from Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart and former Texas quarterback Vince Young, as well as celebrity fans Snoop Dogg and Matthew McConaughey.
“People will be talking about that game forever,” Leinart says in the film. “We were a part of the game of the century.”
The documentary airs Friday at 6 p.m. PST.
