Peter Bogdanovich: In the Aug. 16 Calendar section, an article about film director Peter Bogdanovich said that he has no children. He has two daughters, Sashy and Antonia, from his first marriage to late production designer and producer Polly Platt. Antonia also serves as a co-executive producer on Bogdanovich’s new film, “She’s Funny That Way.”
San Quentin riot: In the Aug. 14 California section, an article about the group of inmates who became known as the “San Quentin Six” after a 1971 riot said that inmate Willie Tate was the last of the six still in the state prison system. Tate, who was acquitted in the riot, was released from prison in 1976. A corrections department spokesman said Friday that the Willie Tate who is currently incarcerated in Soledad is not the same person.
El Niño: In the Aug. 14 Section A, an article about preparations for El Niño weather conditions said that Los Angeles County is planning a sediment removal project in Pacoima. The project is at the Pacoima Dam and Reservoir, which is in Sylmar.
