Homeless tax: In the Oct. 20 Section A, a graphic accompanying an article about Los Angeles’ Proposition HHH said homelessness increased by 11% in the city in the last year. According to a Times analysis of publicly released data compiled in January, homelessness increased by about 5% in the city and less than half a percent in Los Angeles County.

College football: In the Oct. 20 Sports section, a college football column said that Nebraska running back Terrell Newby had rushed for 102 yards against Illinois, then 140 yards against Indiana. His 102-yard game was against Indiana, his 140 against Illinois.
