Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Adelanto

A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Wednesday morning seven miles from Adelanto, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 4:58 a.m. PDT at a depth of 3.7 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 14 miles from Victorville, 17 miles from Phelan, and 19 miles from Hesperia.

In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
