Fast-moving fire threatens homes in San Diego County
Reporting from San Diego —
A fast-moving fire that ignited in the San Pasqual Valley area quickly prompted evacuations Monday afternoon, officials said.
The fire was reported in the area of San Pasqual Road and Highway 78 about 2:50 p.m.
The flames spread quickly and residents who live in the 14400 block of San Pasqual Valley Road were evacuated, a sheriff’s official said.
It is unclear how large the fire is.
